MFM x DFW
meet your chapter leader
SYDNEY WALDEN
Hi! My name is Sydney, and I said yes to the Made for Mothers DFW chapter because, as a brand and website designer, I'm constantly all up in everyone's businesses — making connections, building relationships. That part of every project is maybe my favorite part. It just made sense to take those relationships from virtual to real life so I can squeeze everyone's neck in person.
DFW is such a thriving, booming community of entrepreneurs — especially moms. Everywhere I go (mostly play places and parks), I find another mom trying to squeeze in some half-interrupted work time.
When this group walks into a Made for Mothers meetup, I want them to feel like they're walking into girls' night with a room full of their best friends — excited to yap, catch up, and share all their most exciting news, achievements, and ideas.

NOT YOUR CITY? Start the chapter
Made for Mothers is growing city by city, led by moms in business who wanted this where they live. You get the training, the templates, and the playbook. You bring the room.
Sound familiar?
A few things we hear from chapter leaders before they say yes.
Have you ever felt like you had to choose between your motherhood and your ambition?
Like you had to pick a lane. Hide the baby monitor. Explain away a crying kid on a call instead of just letting it be normal. If you've ever felt like you couldn't bring your kids to a networking event and still be taken seriously — this was built for exactly that moment.
Are you ready to be known in your city for this?
This isn't a side hustle you hide. Your name, your face, your city, your community. If that excites you more than it scares you, you're in the right place.
Have you felt lthe loneliness of building something on your own?
Not a funnel. Not a follower count. If you have always believed the realest growth comes from real relationships — you already think like a chapter leader.
Do you get more excited about someone else’s win than your own?
If watching another mom close her first big client makes you want to scream into your car alone in the Target parking lot, congrats — you've got main character chapter leader energy.
Do networking events make you want to disappear?
BNI. Chamber mixers. The forced small talk over lukewarm coffee and a stack of business cards nobody looks at twice. If you've sat through one of those thinking "this isn't it" — you already know what you're looking for, and it isn't that.
Are you already the room, minus the room?
The friend everyone comes to. The one who says "wait, you two need to meet" before anyone else notices. Coffee dates that turn into business therapy, group chats that feel like a boardroom and a group hug at once. If you're already doing this quietly, you're not starting from scratch — you're finally getting the platform, the brand, and the backup.
this is your sign!
If you read that list and felt even one full-body “YES, THAT’S LITERALLY ME” moment — you’re not imagining it.
We're not looking for perfect. We're looking for real. Women who are already the glue in their own circle and just need the infrastructure, the brand, and the community behind them to make it official.
DFW has this because Sydney said yes. Your city could have it too.
If this is you, do not sit on it.
COME SEE WHAT ALL THE YAPPING IS ABOUT
The next DFW meetup is on the calendar. Come as you are, bring the baby if you need to, and leave with a room full of moms who get it.
