Hiiiii, I’m Stephanie! In August 2023, I was fired at 38 weeks pregnant. A week later, I had my second daughter with no income, no health insurance, two kids, and a husband who had been laid off a month earlier. It was also my second time being fired while pregnant. Somewhere in that season, I decided nobody was ever going to hold my family’s future that lightly again. So I built my own table. I started Zel & Harlow Creative, my branding and web design business, and three years later, my three kids get to watch me choose my dreams alongside them, not instead of them.
Two years ago, we moved from Dallas to Kentucky, and starting over taught me something else: you can build the business yourself, but you were never meant to build the whole life alone.
Finding your people matters. Finding women who know your kids AND your ambition matters. That’s why Made for Mothers felt so personal to me, and why I’m so excited to lead MFM Bowling Green. This isn’t about choosing between being a really good mom and wanting a really big life.
We’re building the kind of village where moms get to want both, and have women beside them while they do it.
